From Our Family to Yours
We are the Ryan and Emily Ponwith family. We live and farm in southern Minnesota on our sixth generation family farm. Ryan’s ancestors settled in the Le Sueur County area way back in 1862. We are proud to continue the legacy of our family farm. Today, we grow corn and soybeans and raise cattle for beef production.
As a stepping stone into the family farm, we invested into our first herd of beef steers in 2016. Since then, we have been raising beef to provide our local customers with ¼, ½, and whole animal custom beef shares. There is nothing quite like locally grown and processed beef grain-finished beef.
After stepping away from our off the farm jobs in 2021, we decided to bring more to the table with PF Beef Co. In the fall of 2021 we began stocking a limited amount of cuts and ground beef to sell directly from our farm. Think of us as your local meat market, but you’re buying the beef on the farm where it was raised.
