This is a DEPOSIT only to secure your custom 1/2 beef share. Remaining balance will be invoiced upon delivery of animals for processing.
In a 1/2 beef share you will bring home roughly 280 pounds of packaged beef. You will pay for the 'hanging weight' of the animal. This is the weight of the entire 1/2 of the animal that you purchase before processing.
You will be invoiced and pay PF Beef Co. $5.25/lb hanging weight. You will pay the processor for the custom processing at the time of pick up.
In a standard quarter you will receive a combination of steaks, roasts, soup bones, short ribs, and ground beef. You can also request organs. Since your beef is custom processed, you are ultimately in control of what cuts you get. If you want primarily ground beef with a few steaks, you can! Emily will email you some processing tips upon delivery of the animal.
